Wendy and Tom's Wedding

Wendy and Tom's wedding was at their home in Newaygo. The ceremony took place facing the Muskegon River. It was a busy day for people going down the river in tubes! I shot this wedding with Emily, a friend from GVSU, since Sara was out of town celebrating her anniversary. All of the images turned out gorgeous, so it was hard to filter through all of them! Wendy is a friend of my friend's mom, and this was her first marriage and it was a very heartfelt day (and lots of fun!) They had a dove theme and let doves go at the end of the ceremony, which made for awesome photos! :)

Stacy and Jason's Wedding

Stacy and Jason's wedding was on June 20th in Holt. The ceremony and reception were both at the Charlar Place. It was a beautiful venue and I really enjoyed being part of their day.. Jason's mom is very close with my mom who also attended the wedding!

Chris and Jaqui's Wedding

Chris and Jacqui met during their time in the military. Their wedding ceremony was on the beach near Saugatuck and the reception was at Chris' dad's house. Now, they are overseas serving our country in Japan. The wedding took place on June 7th, so I am a little behind on my posts. Wedding season has hit me hard! :)

Katie and Matt

About 2 weeks ago, I did Katie and Matt's engagement photos at Collins Park. It was a little too crowded for my liking, but we found some spots that were a little more private.. I loved hearing the story of how they met (they went to Kindergarden together) and talking about the plans for their wedding day!
This is my first shoot that I edited in Lightroom and LOVE the new workflow. I had shot close to 600 images and the process of selecting the best ones was much easier then searching through Bridge. Here they are . . .

Sara and Josh's Wedding

Sara and Josh's wedding was May 16th, 2008. The ceremony was in Byron Center and the reception was at the Holland Fish and Game. The weather was perfect and the surrounding area of the Holland Fish and Game was absolutely beautiful!

Umphrey's Mcgee 6/5

Umphrey's Mcgee played at the Intersection in Grand Rapids and I was lucky enough to score a photo pass :) I got frustrated with low light, but then Ryan bought me a T-shirt and we got to go backstage & hangout with the band. Overall, it was an unreal experience.. can't wait to see them again in August!
